iKON’s New Single “#WYD” to be Released at 12 AM on May 30, and Its Teaser Poster Swept Fans off Their Feet
[동아닷컴=권보라 기자] iKON’s new single “#WYD” will be released at 12 AM on May 30.
YG Entertainment posted a black-and-white poster of the seven iKON members on its official blog. In the poster, members look as if they are the perfect boyfriend material with their sweet smiles and loving eyes.
Earlier on, iKON revealed posters that feature text messages which look like messages sent from a boyfriend to his girlfriend. They were unique teaser posters that gave hints about their comeback. Therefore, expectations are running high for their new single “#WYD”.
“#WYD” is written by KUSH, B.I, and BOBBY; composed by CHOICE37 and KUSH; and arranged by CHOICE37. KUSH and CHOICE37 have participated in producing a number of hit songs of BIGBANG and 2NE1. It will be interesting to see the chemistry created between iKON and YG’s most representative producers.
Only nine months have passed since iKON debuted, but they swept the rookie awards at the end of last year. They have also successfully held a solo concert at the biggest indoor performance venue in Korea, the Olympic Gymnastics Stadium.
iKON is also widening their global fan base by going on tours in Japan and around Asia. The group is also casted for China’s variety show The Remix along with PSY and has stayed in China for the most part of this month to shoot the show.
