[MBC연예=정다희 기자] YG’s rookie girl group BABYMONSTER has heated up their debut buzz by releasing a teaser featuring RORA.

YG Entertainment posted ‘BABYMONSTER – VISUAL FILM | RORA’ and ‘BABYMONSTER – VISUAL PHOTO | RORA’ on their official social media on the 17th. RORA, following Chiquita and Asa as the third in line, has captivated attention at the young age of 15 with her unique concept interpretation skills.

RORA made her appearance with red bridge hair, sporting a hip aura in a sporty top and skirt ensemble. Her charismatic gaze at the camera and her stylish gestures intensified the powerful atmosphere, drawing viewers in even more.

RORA, a Korean member, received high praise in the debut reality show for her delicate emotional expression and deep understanding of the songs, which belied her youthful age. Possessing innocent charm, a soulful voice, and explosive singing ability, she has garnered music fans’ attention with her limitless potential.

BABYMONSTER, a six-member group (RUKA, PHARITA, ASA, HARAM, RORA, CHIQUITA), will simultaneously release their debut song and music video at midnight on the 27th. They have secured highly complete tracks from numerous global composers through song camps, and YG revealed that they have put in their utmost effort in collaboration with senior artists and internal producers.

The fact that BABYMONSTER is YG’s first girl group in seven years following BLACKPINK is also a point of anticipation. The six members have already proven their high-level vocal, dance, rap, and visual skills through the debut reality show, and the overwhelming aura of the members revealed in the recently unveiled teasing content has skyrocketed fans’ expectations for them as a ‘monster rookie’ who will shake up K-pop.

Even before their official debut, their official YouTube channel broke the record for the fastest K-pop girl group to reach 2 million subscribers in 129 days and currently has over 3.2 million subscribers. The cumulative views of their content have exceeded 450 million.
