YG’s New Group ‘BABYMONSTER’, Pre-debut Song ‘DREAM’ MV Surpasses 50 Million Views

According to YG Entertainment on the 22nd, the music video for BABYMONSTER’s pre-debut song ‘DREAM’, which was released last May, surpassed 50 million views on YouTube around 8:23 pm the previous day.
‘DREAM’ is a song with a hopeful message that promises to fly even stronger instead of collapsing or running away when tough times come. The music video captures the journey BABYMONSTER has taken towards their debut goal.
YG stated, “Achieving this in just three months is very exceptional, especially when the official audio hasn’t even been released yet.” In fact, right after its release, ‘DREAM’ ranked first in YouTube’s worldwide trending and also topped the ‘Hot Trending Songs’ chart.
The buzz on YouTube and other SNS channels is also remarkable. Their YouTube subscriber count, as trainees before their debut, broke the 2 million mark in the shortest time for a K-pop girl group, just 129 days, and they currently boast about 3.07 million subscribers. The accumulated views of their YouTube content are also approaching approximately 427 million views.

BABYMONSTER is the girl group that YG is introducing about 7 years after BLACKPINK. The group has a multinational composition, with members from Korea, Thailand, and Japan.
