YG TREASURE To Officially Start Acting…’Tale of a Boy’s High School’ To Be Unveiled on the 12th
[엑스포츠뉴스=하지원 기자] Group TREASURE will be showcasing their infinite potential and acting skills through making an official appearance at a web-drama.
According YG Entertainment, TREASURE will be making an appearance at a new web-drama ‘Tale of a Boy’s High School’ which is set to be unveiled on the 12th of November.
Details of the ‘Tale of a Boy’s High School’ has not been revealed just yet, drawing curiosity from the public. YG Entertainment said “There’s a total of 8 episodes and is a genre of mystery high-teen thriller”
This is the first-time members are challenging themselves in the field of acting after ‘It’s ok, it’s just friendship’ shown in the self-produced reality content ‘TREASURE MAP SEASON 2’. When ‘It’s ok, it’s just friendship’ was first released in March, it drew enormous popularity among fans and demand for another season was high.
The release poster for ‘Tale of a Boy’s High School’ listed on YG’s official blog showed off a spooky atmosphere, clearly showing the overall concept of the web-drama. The image of a skull shown above a school which is assumed to be the setting of the drama even gave off a scary impression.
The scale of which the drama will be produced and the story behind it caused curiosity and expectations among global fans. ‘Tale of a Boy’s High School’ which will focus around the 12 members will be uploaded every Friday at 10 p.m. on TREASURE’s official YouTube channel.
Meanwhile TREASURE recently wrapped up their first ‘PRIVATE STAGE’ since debut which was broadcast live both offline and online. They showed overwhelming stage presence and performance skills, drawing enthusiastic responses from fans from 100 different countries around the world.
