BLACKPINK To Visit LISA’s Hometown Again…Encore Concert Confirmed in Bangkok
[스포티비뉴스=정혜원 기자] Group BLACKPINK confirmed additional concert sessions of their world tour.
On the 22nd, YG Entertainment put up a poster that notified of an encore performance in Bangkok Thailand of their ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR ‘BOTN PINK’’ on BLACKPINK’s official channel. According to the poster, BLACKPINK will hold 2 additional concerts on the 27th and 28th of May in Bangkok.
BLACKPINK had kicked off their Asia tour in Bangkok Thailand with 85,000 audiences, which sold out completely. At the time LISA had said, “I really missed you guys. I hope to see you here again soon”.
The encore concert in Bangkok will be held at Rajamangala National Stadium, which boasts the biggest scale in Thailand. World-renowned artists such as Lady Gaga, One Direction, and Coldplay performed there.
Not only did the poster show additional Thailand performance schedules, but said ‘AND MORE’, raising expectations that the group will be holding more additional performances apart from Bangkok.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently on the biggest world tour titled ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]’ as a K-POP girl group, bringing together a total of 1.5 million audiences worldwide. They successfully carried out 14 performances in 7 North American cities and 10 performances in 7 European cities. They headed to Asia and are currently meeting with their Asian fans. Also, in April, they’ll be taking the stage of ‘Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival’ and ‘Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival’ in July as head runners.
