[스포티비뉴스=장우영기자] Girl group BLACKPINK revealed the behind story of their concert in Bangkok.

On March 1, YG Entertainment uploaded 2 diary videos of BLACKPINK.

The videos showed BLACKPINK’s daily life while they first started their world tour in Bangkok, LISA’s hometown. A day prior to the concert, BLACKPINK took rest while having time of their own. LISA visited Chinatown which is a tourist spot known as a small China inside Thailand to enjoy street food and walk the streets. Meanwhile, ROSÉ ordered various room-service meals in the hotel, presenting a short but impactful ‘late-night ASMA mukbang’ for the fans.

BLACKPINK met their Thai fans for the first time through a rehearsal event that was held prior to the concert. LISA connected with the local fans since Bangkok, Thailand is her hometown. She became a interpreter to pass on what the other members wanted to tell the local fans in Thai while each member presented short Thai skills, which made the fans laugh.

The concert finally began, and BLACKPINK fascinated the Thai fans through their first-ever world tour performance in excitement. The members revealed their thoughts on their Bangkok concert through self-camera videos. ROSÉ shared her gratitude by stating, “I received positive energy from the fans of LISA’s hometown” and added, “The fans’ greetings made me more excited”. LISA who visited her hometown in quite a while shared her thoughts by stating, “It was nervous and exciting to start our world tour in Thailand”.

While currently going through their first-ever world tour in Asia, BLACKPINK successfully completed concerts in Bangkok last month on the 11th, which followed up to Jakarta, Hong Kong, Manila, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur. The group will decorate their Asia tour finale in Taipei on March 3.

BLACKPINK will then act as a ‘global girl group’ by extending their world tour to 6 cities in North America, 6 regions of Europe, and 2 cities of Australia.
