Previously, BLACKPINK’s ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU (1.9 billion views)’, ‘Kill This Love (1.6 billion views)’, ‘BOOMBAYAH (1.3=4 billion views)’, ‘As If It’s Your Last (1.2 billion views)’, the M/V and performance video for ‘How You Like That (1.1 billion views)’, the M/V for JENNIE’s solo song ‘SOLO’ (800 million), ‘WHISTLE’ (800 million), ‘PLAYING WITH FIRE (700 million)’, and Ice Cream had reached such a feat with 700 million views.

The feat is a representation of LISA’s power and influence, as the video showed explosive number views just with a solo performance, despite it not being an official music video. Attention is being paid to its future records, as it’s the second performance clip to reach 700 million views following ‘How You Like That’.

Meanwhile, ’MONEY’ which was listed on LISA’s first solo-album ‘LALISA’ features rap lyrics full of swag based on a trendy hip-hop sound. It’s bold and extravagant, and addictive brass reef, piano sounds, and straight-forward lyrics are the characteristics of the song.

The song created an unusual sensation worldwide, by climbing to the top of major charts around the world, a month later it was released. It topped the iTunes Top Song CHART IN 66 COUNTRIES, then stayed in the UK’s official Single Top 100, U.S.‘ Billboard Hot 100, and POP airplay Chart for 8, 2, and 3 consecutive weeks respectively. LISA eventually earned the title of ’first among K-POP female solo artist’.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK successfully wrapped up their Seoul concert on the 15th and 16th, which was the first stop of their mega-scale world tour. They will attract 1.5 million audiences for their world tour, which is the largest scale as a K-pop girl group ever, and hold 14 concerts in North America, and 10 concerts in Europe, before heading over to Asia and Oceania in 2023.
