BigBang’s leader G-Dragon received a giant plaque in Taiwan in celebration of reaching Platinum in Taiwan.

G-Dragon enjoyed his giant plaque award given by a music agency in Taiwan on May 9. In Taiwan, when an artist sells more than 10,000 copies of an album, that artist is said to reach “Platinum.” G-Dragon is given this award as his album, “One of a Kind,” sold that many copies last October in Taiwan.

Meanwhile his first solo World Tour titled “G-DRAGON 2013 WORLD TOUR : ONE OF A KIND” kicked off in a huge success in Taiwan’s Taipei Arena, joined by his 26,000 fans. His Taiwan concert was held on May 9 and 10.

The way he owned the stage for 2 full hours in Taiwan proved that he recovered fully from his ankle injury.

Taeyang appeared on stage as a guest artist, who, apart from doing a solo performance, did a duet of “Bad Boy” with G-Dragon.

G-Dragon moves on to Hong Kong to meet the local fans on May 17 and 18 through Asia World Expo.
