BLACKPINK Confirms Comeback on August 19th…Pre-release Song Title ‘Pink Venom’
[아이뉴스24=홍수현 기자] Group BLACKPINK is coming back as a whole group.
YG Entertainment said on the 8th that “BLACKPINK is making a comeback on the 19th. The title of their new song is ‘Pink Venom’, and will be pre-released at 1PM that day.”
The title is already under spotlight for combining the color ‘PINK’ which represents BLACKPINK, and ‘Venom’ which means ‘poison’. A poster was also unveiled that used the canine tooth as the main object. The canine tooth also appeared on BLACKPINK’s comeback trailer.
YG said “We’re happy we could disclose information on the pre-release song, which also represents the start of the major ‘BORN PINK’ project, on the day of the girls’ debut anniversary (August 8th). We hope this serves as a gift for global fans who have been waiting for their comeback”.
BLACKPINK’s comeback as a whole group comes in a year and 10 months. As YG had previously said the most amount of production cost went into their two music videos for their new songs, expectations are running high on their comeback.
Meanwhile, their comeback is part of their ‘BORN PINK’ project, which includes their pre-release song and M/V in August, full album and M/V for their title-song in September, and a world-tour in October.
