TREASURE Makes Comeback Today (15th) Amid YG’s Unprecedented Support

TREASURE will be releasing their new album ‘THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER ONE’ at 6 p.m. on the 15th.
Their title-song ‘JIKJIN’ is a hip-hop song which portrays YG’s musical identity, and stimulates curiosity about what will be waiting at the end of TREASURE’s fearless race.
Constantly changing tracks and vocal parts lift up the atmosphere, along with minimal yet addictive chorus which adds an element of twist. The powerful yet speedy ending plans to give listeners a thrilling pleasure.
TREASURE’s second step has never been stronger as they have grown both in skills and scale. Their growth has been backed up with YG’s ultimate support, such as investing 500 million won in M/V production cost. Attention is being drawn to TREASURE’s music and performance which will show their overwhelming presence.
Along with their spectacular M/V, attention is also being drawn to TREASURE’s performance. TREASURE had earlier hinted on a synchronized choreography and overwhelming hi-hop swag through their teasing content. Fans also paid attention to their ‘drift-dance’, the point choreography of the song which resembles turning the handle while driving.
The album is also expected to show TREASURE’s colorful musical characteristics. Not only did YG’s ultimate producer group such as CHOICE37, AirPLAY took part in the album, but members’ passion towards music has also been portrayed. CHOI HYUN SUK, YOSHI, and HARUTO made the rap parts themselves for many track songs including JIKJIN, and CHOI HYUN SUK added even more meaning to the album by taking part in the lyrics and composition process of ‘BFF’ which will be part of the physical album.
A total of 6 songs which show TREASURE’s broad music spectrum has been listed on this album. BANG YE DAM took part in the lyrics and composition process along with taking the role of vocal direction for the R&B genre song ‘DARARI, ’U’ is an trendy easy-listening pop genre song, ‘IT’S OKAY’ is a TREASURE style ballad song, and ‘Gonna Be Fine’ features rapper HARUTO’s mellow vocals.
TREASURE had already ‘JIKJIN’ towards their best-record so far early on. Pre-reservations for their new album ‘THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER ONE’ had reached 600,000 copies within 8 days of pre-reservations. This was already a record for the group.

Meanwhile, TREASURE will be meeting fans first 2 hours prior to their album release through YouTube’s ‘Countdown Live’ which will be conducted live from 4 p.m. on the 15th.They will also hold their first concert since debut on the 9th and 10th of April at Seoul Olympic Hall.
