YG TREASURE Members Become Santas…Gifts Fans With Christmas Song “CHOI HYUN SUK Took Part in Composing”
[OSEN=이승훈 기자] YG Mega group TREASURE melted the hearts of global fans with their surprise song gift ahead of Christmas. YG Entertainment uploaded the original soundtrack of TREASURE’s web-drama ‘The Mysterious Class (HAPPY CHRISTMAS ver.) on their official blog on the 24th.
‘BFF’ stands for ‘Best Friend Forever’. As the song was a self-produced OST based on the storyline of the web-drama, TREASURE members sang the song with the theme of friendship.
The clip highlighted TREASURE’s very own warm and innocent characteristics along with loving lyrics for their friend, and the atmosphere was further heightened with Christmas vibes. The beginning started off with energetic guitar sounds and the song continued on with highly energetic vibes. The last part was sang all together by the members, putting a smile on those watching them.
The song drew attention among fans from the beginning as it was first played in the first episode of ‘The Mysterious Class’. It drew lots of curiosity as the title or specific information was not revealed.
YG said “CHOI HYUN SUK who has been expanding his musical capabilities and spectrum as an artist by taking part in producing TREASURE’s songs took part in composing ‘BFF (Best Friend Forever)’. The main producing was done by Q, a YG composer for finishing touches.
Meanwhile, ‘The Mysterious Class’ draws on 12 TREASURE members trying to find the ghost among their class. There are only two episodes left until the end, and the episodes get uploaded at 10 p.m. every Friday on TREASURE’s official YouTube channel.
