BLACKPINK ROSÉ’ Reveals ‘Gone’ MV Making Film
[스포티비뉴스=김원겸 기자] While BLACKPINK ROSÉ’’s MV for her solo track ‘Gone’ is widely popular on YouTube, the making film of the MV has been revealed through YG Entertainment’s official blog on the 8th.
The ‘Gone’ MV making film began with ROSÉ’ concentrating on the directions. After revealing her lovely charms wearing a purple mini dress, she emitted ambient vibes with her deep eyes, immersing herself into emotional acting.
After turning on the self-camera during the shooting, ROSÉ explained, “I’ve been keeping ‘Gone’ for about a year and 6 months after I’ve recorded the song. I loved it from the moment I listened to it. I really liked it since then”.
The MV for ‘Gone’ cross edited story of the happy past with a lover, and the lonely present left alone after a breakup. The panoramic presentation of ROSÉ reminiscing the past and her soulful vocals added mournful vibes to the video.
ROSÉ shared a behind story on the kitchen table scene from the MV for ‘Gone’, which became a hot topic among fans. She shyly smiled after explaining, “You’re eating breakfast and realize there is no one. You’re in shock because you’re alone”.
After the all-nighter shooting has ended, ROSÉ did not lose her smile. She rather shared her gratitude and showed support for the staff members at the scene. ROSÉ stated, “I was moved by many people who worked hard to make my MV look pretty. I thank everyone”.
Meanwhile, ROSÉ’s MV for ‘Gone’ has surpassed 10M views in half a day since its release and was ranked at the Worldwide Real-time Trend Rankings, becoming the ‘Most Watched Video on YouTube in 24 Hours’.
The video has surpassed 26M views as of April 8, which shows its popularity uptrend on par with the title track ‘On The Ground’. Considering that the MV is for a song released 3 weeks ago, it proves her strong global popularity.
‘GONE’ is the sub-title track from ROSÉ’s solo album ‘R’. The minimal arrangement with a guitar base along with mild lyrics which express the heart of letting go of a past lover impresses the song listeners.
