BLACKPINK ROSÉ’s MV for ‘Gone’ Surpasses 10M Views in Half a Day
[스포츠월드=유수연 기자] BLACKPINK ROSÉ’s MV for her solo track ‘Gone’ has surpassed 10M views on YouTube in half a day since its release.
On April 5 at 0 AM(KST), YG Entertainment uploaded the MV for ‘Gone’, the sub-title track of ROSÉ’s solo album ‘R’, through BLACKPINK’s official YouTube channel.
The video has surpassed 10M YouTube views as of 2:12 PM. Although the song was released 3 weeks ago, the video collected over 1M views per hour at certain times, becoming the ‘Most Watched Video in 24 Hours’(as of 4/4) on YouTube.
The MV for ‘Gone’ made the viewers pay attention with its cross edited story of the happy past with a lover, and the lonely present left alone after a breakup.
ROSÉ expressed inner sadness perfectly with her emotional acting. ROSÉ reminiscing the past panoramically with her empty eyes and her soulful vocals added dreamlike vibes to the video.
‘GONE’ is the sub-title track from ROSÉ’s solo album ‘R’. The minimal arrangement with a guitar base along with mild lyrics which express the heart of letting go of a past lover impresses the song’s listeners.
Meanwhile, ROSÉ’s title track ‘On The Ground’ from her first-ever solo album ‘R’ has topped iTunes Top Song Charts in a total of 51 countries, as well as the US Billboard Global 200 Chart.
