[일간스포츠=김연지 기자] BLACKPINK ROSÉ will release her MV for ‘Gone’ on the 5th.

On April 4, YG Entertainment uploaded ROSÉ’s teaser poster through their official blog, raising the fans’ anticipation. In the poster, ROSÉ stared at the camera with her empty eyes while covering her shoulder with her hand. Her tangled hair added lonely vibes to the photo, raising curiosities on the story of the upcoming MV.

‘GONE’ is the sub-title track from ROSÉ’s solo album ‘R’. The song mildly expresses the heart of letting go of a past lover. The minimal arrangement with a guitar base sounds impressive, while ROSÉ’s soulful vocals also received favorable reviews.

The 33-second teaser clip for ‘Gone’ revealed through BLACKPINK’s livestream concert on January has surpassed 50M views on YouTube.

ROSÉ’s delicate acting and vocals expressing the various emotions of inner sadness grabbed the fans’ eyes and ears. Her lying down in the bathroom crouched down, and ROSÉ disappearing in burning roses seemed to include numerous metaphors, making the viewers pay attention.

The video had different vibes from the MV for ‘On The Ground’, the title track with the same album which presented glamorous and grand visuals. The MV is expected to be the base of making the song ‘Gone’ even more popular.

Meanwhile, the title track ‘On The Ground’ from ROSÉ’s first solo album ‘R’ has topped iTunes Top Song charts in 51 different countries and the US Billboard Global 200 chart. The song also set the best K-Pop female solo artist history on the Billboard Hot 100 and UK’s Official Singles Top 100.
