BLACKPINK ROSÉ to Appear on ‘Inkigayo’ on the 14th… Will Reveal Solo Choreography for the First Time
[OSEN=지민경 기자] BLACKPINK ROSÉ’s first music broadcast performance will be presented through SBS ‘Inkigayo’.
According to YG Entertainment, ROSÉ will perform ‘On The Ground’, the title track of her firist single album, along with ‘Gone’ on SBS ‘Inkigayo’ on the 14th.
She will present her rich and glamorous dance moves which were not covered through the MV. Since it will be her first-ever performance after releasing her solo album and will be the first presentation of her solo choreography, the global fans are expected to pay keen attention.
The choreography for the title track ‘On The Ground’ was created by world-famous choreographers including Kiel Tutin and Kyle Hanagami. ROSÉ revealed her satisfaction by commenting, “I’m very pleased”, as well as noticing fresh and sturdy composition, which raised the fans’ anticipation.
ROSÉ released her first-ever single album ‘R’ today(12th) at 2 PM. The title track ‘On The Ground’ has lyrics which state, ‘I’ve always aimed and worked to go higher, but the most important value is within myself’. ROSÉ’s mellow and delicate yet powerful and rough vocals stood out, which led to favorable reviews from the listeners.
The song has variation on acoustic guitars, tense melodies, and mystic instrument arrangement. The song is conquering major Korean music charts in an hour since its release. Since it’s an English track, the song is also expected to perform well on global charts.
ROSÉ’s popularity storm has been predicted. The physical album of ‘R’, to be officially released on March 16, has already received over 400 thousand pre-orders, setting the biggest record in K-Pop female solo artist history.
Meanwhile, following her comeback performance on SBS ‘Inkigayo’, ROSÉ will appear on NBC ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on the 16th(local time).
