BLACKPINK ROSÉ Reveals ‘On The Ground’ MV Teaser for the First Time
[OSEN=강서정 기자] BLACKPINK ROSÉ’s MV teaser for ‘On The Ground’, the title track of her first solo album, has been revealed for the first time on March 8.
Despite being a short 15-second clip, the MV teaser showed parts of the melody along with ROSÉ’s alluring visuals, gathering the attention of global music fans.
After showing herself inside a car, ROSÉ showed off her elegant styling matching a purple long dress, fur, and glamorous accessories.
However, her looks as she stared outside the car window and her actions of taking off her fur and being lost in deep thoughts emitted lonely and sentimental vibes, which made the viewers curious.
While the acoustic guitar sounds and mystic arrangement of the song grabbed the listeners’ ears, ROSÉ singing ‘On The Ground’ was also included in the teaser, raising anticipation on the full version of the song.
ROSÉ’s first solo single album ‘R’ will be released on the 12th at 0 AM US EST and at 2 PM KST. The album title ‘R’, which is also the first alphabet of ROSÉ’s name, signifies her new beginning as a solo artist.
Meanwhile, physical copies of ‘R’ will be released in a total of 3 different formats including a CD, LP, and KiT, and are available for pre-order since March 4. ROSÉ participated in the album design herself with a cinematic mood concept with retro vibes, which raised the possession value of the album.
