TREASURE Receives AAA Rookie of the Year Award… ‘Valuable Achievement’ in 4 Months Since Debut
[스타뉴스=윤상근 기자] Group TREASURE won their first-ever trophy on a major year-end awards ceremony, proving themselves as the best rookie group of 2020. They were awarded an honorable achievement in 4 months since making debut.
On November 28, TREASURE received the Rookie of the Year Award at the 2020 Asia Artist Awards.
Leader CHOI HYUN SUK gave the honor to the fans by stating, “I would like to say that I always appreciate and love our Treasure Makers, who live with us under the same sky”. He also revealed his overwhelming thoughts by adding, “We’ll continue to work hard to become TREASURE that always grow. We would like to stay forever with you(fans)”.
JIHOON, the other leader of the team, shared his gratitude by stating “We thank our YG family for supporting us since our ‘THE FIRST STEP’ series chapters 1, 2, and 3, as well as our upcoming official debut album to be released next year on January”. He also promised, “We will become diligent and humble artists”.
As a group targeting the global market, MASHIHO shared his thoughts to the local fans in Japanese. MASHIHO stated, “It hasn’t been long since we made debut, but it’s an honor that we’re receiving a lot of love, thanks to the Treasure Makers”. TREASURE, who won the Rookie of the Year Award, proved their presence with their fierce red outfits and their dominate performance. They arranged the intro of their debut single ‘BOY’ and ‘MMM’, the title song from their third single album, which presented unique sounds and performances that emphasized the glamour of their performance. TREASURE’s unique and explosive ‘teen crush’ and their Hip-hop swag shown through their ‘group dance’ also put the audience of AAA in awe.
