YG TREASURE Wins Best Musician Award at AAA…Shows Unrivaled Live Performance
[OSEN=지민경 기자] With YG’s mega group TREASURE sweeping end of the year ceremonies with their unrivaled performance skills and limitless musical growth, attention is once again drawn to the group as they took home another trophy.
TREASURE won the Best Musician Award at the ‘2022 Asia Artist Awards IN JAPAN'(hereinafter ‘2022 AAA’), held at Nippon Gaishi Hall in Nagoya, Japan on the 13th.
This is already their third trophy of the year. Previously, the group made their presence clear as a global artist by winning the Artist of the Year at ‘The Fact Music Awards’, and the Worldwide Fans’ Choice Awards, one of the main awards for the ‘2022 MAMA AWARDS’.
During their acceptance speech, TREASURE said, “It’s our honor to receive such a huge award at AAA, where we won the Rookie of the Year Award 2 years ago. We also performed at this venue we’re standing in last week, and we’re so happy to be receiving an award in front of TREASURE MAKERS. This year has been full of happy memories for us, from carrying out album activities to going on a tour. We’ll work hard to become an even-better artist”.

In fact, the group has been garnering great attention among music fans every time they perform on music awards including the ‘2022 AAA’ by giving changes to their choreography and performance. This is all because of the members’ determination and effort in presenting something different night and day, despite their busy schedules of running a Japanese tour.

Meanwhile, TREASURE is successfully carrying out their first Arena Tour in Japan in 2 years since their debut. They recently wrapped up their Hokkaido concert, which sold out completely, and will now head to Fukui, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Hyogo, Tokyo, and Saitama. They will head out to Kyosera Dome in Osaka on the 28th and 29th of January, performing for the first time at a dome.
