iKon’s Offline Concert Full of Tears in 3 Years and 6 Months “We Feel Alive”
[뉴스엔=황혜진 기자] Group iKON (JAY, BOBBY, SONG, JU-NE, CHAN, DK) soaked up every moment of their happiness after hearing fans’ cheering in 3 years and 6 months.
According to YG Entertainment on June 27th, iKON held their 2022 CONCERT [FLASHBACK] on the 25th and 26th of June at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, located in Seoul, Songpagu, Bangidong.
Through this concert, iKON reunited with their iKONICS (fandom name) in 3 years and 6 months. The boys let out all their energy throughout the concert without getting tired.
The group started off with ‘KILLING ME’, and lifted up the atmosphere with their songs ‘BLING BLING’, and ‘SINOSIJAK’.
They then peformed ‘DRAGON’ and ‘AT EASE’, which was recently listed on their recently released 4th mini-album ‘FLASHBACK’, for the first time in front of fans.
A parade of their hit-songs also followed. Fans stood up and sang along the group’s hit songs such as ‘RHYTHM TA’ ‘MY TYPE’ ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ and ‘DUMB & DUMBER’. The band sound created perfect harmony with the song, and video & special effects took over the whole stadium.
BOBBY showed what real hip-hop swag was with his solo songs ‘HeartBROKEN PlaYBoY’ and ‘DeViL’, and JU-NE sang a lyrical number ‘Deep Night’ with his guitar. SONG transformed into a trot singer, and put a smile on fans’ faces with his song ‘KkilKiPpaPpa’ which he prepared for the concert.
Member’s became teary when precious moments between iKON and iKONICS from all around the world were put on the LED screen like a movie, and when fans presented a surprise slogan event.
iKON said “You’re the reason why we exist”. They then shed tears of happiness saying “Thank you for always being by our side. We’ll make sure you can be more proud of us”.
iKON also added “Every moment was filled with happiness and we felt alive. Standing among the red KONBAT felt as if we were in the middle of space. It’s such an honor we can give back our positive energy to our fans. We want to see you all more often, and for much longer”.
Meanwhile iKON will begin their ‘iKON JAPAN TOUR 2022’ at Kobe World Memorial Hall in Hyogo Prefecture on July 2nd and 3rd.
They will then continue on the tour on July 9 and 10 at Tokyo National Yoyogi Stadium 1st Gymnasium.
