BLACKPINK Lights Up Paris’ Sky in Pink…Successfully Carries Out Their European World Tour
[OSEN=선미경 기자] Group BLACKPINK successfully finished off their concert in Paris France, taking over the hearts of local fans.
BLACKPINK held their ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]’ in ACCOR ARENA in Paris France on the 11th and 12th (local time) of December. A flash-mob was voluntarily held by fans who were waiting for the concert from early morning on the first day of the concert.
A girl started dancing to ‘How You Like That’, which played in the plaza, and around 300 fans gathered around dancing to the song all together. They also danced and sang along to other YG artists such as BIGBANG, WINNER, iKON, and TREASURE, showing how YG’s music can connect people from all around the world.
European fans who warmed themselves up before the concert welcomed the group with loud cheering. BLACKPINK performed ‘How You Like That’ and ‘Pretty Savage’ for their opening stage and took over the stage by performing their hit-songs such as ‘Kill This Love’, ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ and ‘Lovesick Girls’, along with phenomenal solo stages. Members shouted out “Thank you Paris! We feel happiest when we look at our fans singing and dancing along to our music”.
A special event unfolded for the members during the performance. Banners saying ‘Pink lights lightening up the black sky of Paris’, ‘We’ll always be by your side no matter how difficult things get’ filled the performance venue. It was a moment where fans’ genuine love and passion towards the members were delivered, and touched on their hearts.
BLACKPINK paid back their love by putting on their best performance. They interacted with fans with their everlasting energy and amazed the crowd once again with their unrivaled performance. The full band sound and dynamic stage production added on to the liveliness of the stage.
Following their performance in Paris, France, BLACKPINK will head off to Copenhagen, Denmark on the 15th, Berlin, Germany on the 19th and 20th, and Amsterdam, the Netherlands on the 22nd and color European cities in pink.
