AKMU LEE SUHYUN’s Solo Single is Titled ‘Alien’… Raises Curiosity on its Concept
[서울경제=추승현 기자] AKMU LEE SU HYUN’s first solo single finally unveiled.
On October 7, YG Entertainment(YG) uploaded LEE SUHYUN’s solo single title poster with a space background with cute illustrations and vivid colors through their official blog.
A UFO shot lights towards the song title, ‘ALIEN’, raising the viewers’ attention. On the lower right corner, a trophy with an alien shape appeared to raise curiosities on the album concept and song mood.
Detailed information on the song is still in veil. YG has previously announced LEE SUHYUN’s solo single release and explained that it will be fresh and differentiated, and that it will be beyond expectations.
With her glass-like fresh voice with deep emotions, it is expected that LEE SUHYUN will present her new self, which she has not presented in AKMU.
Since it will be LEE SUHYUN’s first-ever solo track being released in 6 years since making debut, the fans are also curious whether there will be something ‘special’ which even the fans would be surprised at. After letting themselves known through ‘K-Pop Star’ season 2 back in 2012, AKMU made official debut through YG back in 2014. The group has since released numerous hits for the past 6 years and established themselves as the artist you ‘trust and listen to’.
The title track ‘How Can I Love the Heartbreak, You’re the One I Love’ from their 3rd album ‘Sailing’ released last year on September is still ranked at no. 28 on Melon(as of 10/6/2018), the biggest music chart in Korea, although it has been over a year since its release.
Furthermore, LEE SUHYUN recently became a hot topic by singing ‘Reflection’, the Korean soundtrack for Disney’s ‘Mulan’. She also grabbed the people’s hearts through her beautiful performance on the music variety program, ‘Begin Again Korea’.
