BLACKPINK to Film ‘Knowing Bros’ on the 8th→Broadcasts on the 17th… Will Dominate the Korean Variety Scene

According to coverage by OSEN on October 5, BLACKPINK will film JTBC ‘Knowing Bros’ on the 8th. The episode featuring all members of BLACKPINK is scheduled to premiere on the 17th.
BLACKPINK has previously appeared on JTBC ‘Knowing Bros’ episode 87, back in August 5, 2017. They introduced themselves by stating, “We transferred from the pretty girl high school next to the pretty girl” and fascinated ‘Knowing Bros’ with their cute and cheerful charms which was contrast to their girl-crush charms they present on stage.
BLACKPINK also became a hot topic by presenting a dance medley relay of ‘WHISTLE’, ‘PLAYING WITH FIRE’ and ‘AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST’, which were the biggest hits at the time. They also revealed their affection towards ‘Knowing Bros’ by adding, “We are huge fans of ‘Knowing Bros’. Why didn’t you call us sooner”.
Since BLACKPINK is extremely popular in the global market as well, BLACKPINK’s appearance in ‘Knowing Bros’ gathered global attention and became an opportunity to spread Korean variety shows to the world.

Their new album title song is ‘Lovesick Girls’, which asks the fundamental question of why people get wounded and hurt by love and yet go out looking for love again. Members JISOO and JENNIE participated in the writing and composing of the song for the first time, raising the level of completion of the album.
