On JTBC ‘Knowing Bros’ broadcasted on the 17th, girl group BLACKPINK(JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ, LISA), currently active with ‘Lovesick Girls’, appeared as guests.
The members of Knowing Bros greeted BLACKPINK, who made their appearance in 3 years on the program. They mentioned that the group became world stars ever since, and asked about the popularity of LISA, who’s from Thailand.
JISOO replied, “She can’t walk in the airport. Every floor in the airport is filled with people who came to see LISA”. ROSÉ revealed, “LISA’s photos are everywhere in the highway, and the police handles our moving route”. On the question asking if LISA is famous than Tony Jaa, known as ‘Ong-bak’, she shyly answered, “I’m trying hard”.
LISA also surprised the members of Knowing Bros with her improved Korean skills, compared to 3 years ago. LISA revealed, “I studied watching Korean dramas. I like ‘Guardian: The Lonely and Great God’, so I watched the entire series again recently. I’m into Gong Yoo”.
She asked Seo Janghoon, the ‘Daily Genie’, “Let me take a photo with Gong Yoo”. She revealed that she is a fan by stating, “He’s my type. He’s also tall”, while JENNIE also grabbed the people’s attention by stating that Gong Yoo is her ideal type.
The behind story on JENNIE’s name was also revealed. JENNIE stated, “My name is pure Korean”. She explained, “My mother was a fan of Lee Jungjae. The drama ‘Sandglass’ was on air at the time, and his character from the drama was named Baek Jaehee. She wanted to name me Jaehee if I was a son but named be Jennie because I was a girl”. She continued, “She liked it when I told her that I met Lee Jungjae in person”.
BLACKPINK’s variety senses also exploded. When JENNIE and ROSÉ revealed that they would like to appear on ‘Love Naggers’ hosted by Seo Janghoon as a guest and actress, Kim Youngchul asked them to appear on his radio program as well.
