TREASURE, “Speedy Comeback in a Month Through ‘I LOVE YOU’, Will Show Teen Crush+Growth”

On September 18, TREASURE released their second single ‘I LOVE YOU’. ‘I LOVE YOU’ is a Dance Pop track adding a boy’s fiercer passion, pureness, and freshness, expressing the boy’s emotions that make him mimic even the trivial things by the one he loves.
BANG YE DAM stated, “After listening to the chorus of ‘I LOVE YOU’, I felt a fresh shock because the complicated emotions of ‘love’ and along with its sweetness and straightforwardness came under my skin. Like these emotions, we tried to do our best in expressing the pure emotions toward someone. It will be great if the listeners can feel our love together”. ASAHI stated, “We also gave a change in our visual concept. We wore school uniforms for the first time after making debut. (Laughter) School-looks go well with the concept of our song and when we express a boy who’s in love. We were very comfortable wearing them, maybe since many members look natural while wearing school uniforms in their age”.
TREASURE made comeback in a month since the release of their debut single, ‘BOY’.
CHOI HYUN SUK stated, “We’re happy and excited to present TREASURE’s various charms by making a fast comeback. Like the ‘rushing emotions of love’ which we expressed through our latest song, TREASURE is also making progress, so please look forward to us and give us support”, while JIHOON stated, “I hope TREASURE’s unique charms were passed on. The song has a different mood compared to ‘CHAPTER ONE’, so you will see the members’ growth. I think it is a song that shows TREASURE’s potential and possibilities to be able to perform a variety of songs”.
YOSHI stated, “I’m happy to let the fans listen to our music right away. Reactions such as ‘It’s exciting, it’s fresh, it makes me look forward to it and I feel various emotions!’ also make me feel good but most importantly, I wanted to present my improved self”, while JUNKYU stated, “It’s amazing and I’m happy to make comeback right away! I want to meet our fans as soon as possible. We practiced a lot to present ourselves better”. MASHIHO revealed, “It feels so good. Us members talked about our ‘excitement’ every day, since we wanted to meet our fans as soon as possible. I think ‘I LOVE YOU’ is an album with fiercer and more lovely sounds which we haven’t been able to present through ‘BOY’”.
YOON JAE HYUK stated, “It’s very exciting. I would like to meet our Treasure Makers as soon as possible. I hope our fans enjoy our new song as well”, while ASAHI stated, “I’m curious on what our fans think about our song! I want to present a better version of myself than how I did in our debut single”. BANG YE DAM also revealed his determination by stating, “We’ve made comeback in approximately 40 days since we made debut through ‘CHAPTER ONE’, so we’re happy to meet our fans again in such a short period of time and to have many activities this year. We’ll present our different and improved selves compared to the time we released ‘CHAPTER ONE’”.
DOYOUNG stated, “I can’t believe it’s our second release. I’m happy to make comeback. I’m already excited to think about running around with our members. You’ll see our boyish charms full of freshness”, while HARUTO stated, “It’s fun and amazing to be active with all members. It also feels good to meet our fans with our new song. I hope the Treasure Makers enjoy the fresh and cute charms contained in the song”. PARK JEONG WOO stated, “Since we had so much fun with ‘CHAPTER ONE’, I look forward to our ‘CHAPTER TWO’ promotional activities. It feels really good to make comeback right away! TREASURE is determined to present their own ‘fresh teen-crush charms’ through ‘I LOVE YOU’. They explained, “We’ve put in deepened passion compared to our debut song ‘BOY’. We became TREASURE full of freshness. We did our best to express the fiercer performance and organic movements which make the 12 members unite as one. Moreover, they presented their upgraded skills compared to their last release. CHOI HYUN SUK, HARUTO, and YOSHI actively participated in the production of the song, while the entire group showed off their improved skills through their choreography and MV.

We have no restrictions in communicating, so we can make an agreement in a positive way”, while CHOI HYUN SUK stated, “Following our debut album, I had fun while working with HARUTO and YOSHI. The members also explained, “The MV film set and matching our in-ear monitors got comfortable. We’ve also improved in finding the camera. (Laughter) The members improved a lot! The speed of learning a new dance, our dance lines, and more, we’re surprised since everyone is improving day by day. We’ve learned many new things. We’ve tried hard to perfectly get accustomed to our new choreography moves and the moves we needed for the MV shooting. There is a part where we make a diamond formation when we perform ‘I LOVE YOU’, which the members did a great job in. I also learned to play the drums for our MV shooting! I’ve learned to play basketball when we filmed ‘BOY’, and I learned to play drums this time, which was so fun”.
