BLACKPINK’s Virtual Fan Sign Event Surpasses 30M Participation+Avatar Performance Surpasses 40M Views

According to YG Entertainment on the 11th, BLACKPINK’s virtual fan sign event has surpassed 30M participations as of 1 PM. Furthermore, BLACKPINK an Selena Gomez’s ‘Ice Cream’ dance performance video in 3D avatar has surpassed 40M views and is receiving favorable reviews.
The two projects were created by the collaboration between BLACKPINK and Zepeto, the global AR avatar service operated by Naver Z. The 3D avatar dance practice video was revealed on the 2nd, while the virtual fan sign even began on the 3rd.
BLACKPINK has presented creative and unique contents with Zepeto by creating a positive synergy effect, expanding their communication channels with the global fans. With the current situation, it is hard for them to meet the fans in person, so BLACKPINK’s new challenge stands out even more.
Zepeto revealed, “New users increased by 300 thousand compared to last week after the release of the ‘Ice Cream’ dance performance video”.
