TREASURE’s ‘BOY’ MV Surpasses 20M Views… Record March Continues

According to YG Entertainment on the 14th, TREASURE’s MV for their debut single ‘BOY’ has surpassed 20M views on YouTube, as of 12:10 PM.
The results were achieved in less than a week, since the song was released on the 7th at 6 PM. The ‘BOY’ MV has been on a rising trend after surpassing 10M views in 26 hours with the global fans’ support.
Even the dance practice video is popular. The dance practice video for ‘BOY’ released on the 10th will soon reach 3M views, in 4 days since its release, and it is unprecedented for a rookie group to have such a high viewing rate.
TREASURE’s global popularity has been revealed through various objective figures. They have achieved meaningful results in music charts and album sales in and out of Korea, making the people look forward to their activities as a group.
They are especially strong in the Japanese market. The song ‘BOY’ topped the Top Song 100 chart of Line Music, Japan’s biggest music website, Rakuten’s Real-time Comprehensive Rankings, and AWA’s Top Rising chart on the date of its release. The song is also maintaining its no. 1 spot on Line Music’s Top Song 100 Daily chart for 3 consecutive weeks.
Furthermore, the physical copies of their first single album, ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER ONE’, released on the 13th, has achieved the biggest first day sales among all K-Pop rookie groups who have made debut this year, topping the Hanteo charts.
