‘HELLO’ by TREASURE Tops Japan’s Music Chart and Lists Track Songs on Charts as Well
[앳스타일=박승현 기자] With TREASURE’s new song ‘HELLO’ released, music fans from all around the world are welcoming their comeback with enthusiastic responses.
TREASURE released their 2nd mini-album ‘THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER TWO’ ON THE 4TH, and took the first spot on iTunes Album Chart in 15 countries. It showed even popularity around the world, and also placed 8th place on the world’s largest pop market U.S., showing their global popularity around the world.
Their popularity in Japan is noticeable in particular. Their title-song ‘HELLO’ took the first spot real-time charts on Line Music, Japan’s largest music site, and Rakuten Music, AWA, and mu-mo. Their track songs ‘VolKno’, ‘CLAP!’, ‘THANK YOU’, and ‘HOLD IT IN’ also placed high on Line Music’s Chart.
Attention is also being paid to responses on domestic charts as well. TREASURE’s ‘HELLO’ ranked first on Bugs Music as soon as it was released, and all their track songs followed the rank, succeeding in so called ‘lining up their songs on charts’. They’re continuing to climb up in ranks of other domestic charts including Genie Music as well, drawing attention to their future results.
The M/V which was released the same day is also receiving favorable reviews as well. Their ‘HELLO’ music video portrays TREASURE’s healing energy and message of comfort, and received favorable reviews for showing member’s even more mature visuals, and was listed as the ‘Most viewed video on YouTube within 24 hours’. Attention is now being drawn to their stage performance which will highlight their charms even more.
Their results are even more meaningful as the album was created with members’ high participation. In fact, rappers CHOI HYUN SUK, YOSHI, and HARUTO took part in not only the composition and lyrics of the title-song but their unit and track songs as well, and ASAHI also put his name on the credit list, showing his even more upgraded producing skills.
Following their comeback, TREASURE will hold two concerts on the 12th and 13th of November at Seoul Olympic Park KSPO DOME, and payback fan’s love with active promotion activities. They will then hold an area tour in Japan starting with Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center on November 26th. They will hold a total of 210,000 audiences, which is the most out of K-POP artists that’s holding a concert for the first time in Japan.
