In the revealed photo, BLACKPINK’s JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ, and LISA were intimately staying besides each other. They slept next to each other on the same bed, while another photo showed them staring at the camera together.
After making debut back in August 8, 2016, BLACKPINK received love from the public in and out of Korea while setting milestones. Their MV for ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ surpassed 900M views last month on the 30th, allowing the group to set a milestone which no other K-Pop group has ever achieved. As soon as the video reached 200M views, they have been renewing the fastest K-Pop record among all K-Pop group MVs. The group has also surpassed 800M views for the first time.
Along with member JENNIE’s ‘SOLO’, 8 MVs, dance practice videos, and music broadcast videos add up to a total of 16 videos with over 100M views. Their view count is still continuing to rise at a fast pace.
In addition, BLACKPINK also set a meaningful record through their first-ever world tour. They have sold out 22 shows from a total of 32 shows held in 23 cities of 4 continents, reaching an average share rate of 96.6%. They have established themselves as a world class girl group by performing in numerous and large-scale concerts, which is unprecedented for a group on their first-ever world tour.
