WINNER, “YOON Sent to Emergency Room Due to Herniated Disc, Will Not Participate Live Broadcast of ‘Inkigayo’”
[엑스포츠뉴스=김유진 기자] Group WINNER announced that they will not be performing on SBS ‘Inkigayo’, which they were scheduled to participate today(2nd).
On June 2, YG Entertainment announced, “WINNER will not be able to perform on SBS ‘Inkigayo’ live today, due to unfortunate circumstances”.
The agency informed, “YOON showed symptoms of a herniated disc on his neck while waiting for his rehearsal, and was moved to a emergency room in a local hospital”.
They added, “YOON had a strong will to perform on stage to keep his promise with the fans, but decided not to perform on ‘Inkigayo’ according to the agency and staff members’ suggestions”.
They also asked for the fans’ understanding by writing, “We decided that the best decision in this unexpected situation was to focus on treatment to prevent his condition from getting worse. We send our apologies to the fans and viewers who have been waiting for WINNER’s live performance today, and we will do our best to help YOON recover as soon as possible”.
WINNER made comeback last month on the 15th with their new album ‘WE’, and are currently actively promoting their title song ‘AH YEAH’.
