AKMU at No. 1 on Music Charts for 18 Days… Becomes the Figure of Autumn Vibes
[OSEN=선미경 기자] It seems that sibling duo AKMU’s ‘How Can I Love the Heartbreak, You’re the One I Love’ is now one of the representative songs of ‘Autumn’.
The title song ‘How Can I Love the Heartbreak, You’re the One I Love’ from AKMU’s 3rd official album ‘SAILING’ was ranked at no. 1 on 5 different major real-time charts including Melon, Genie, Olleh, Bugs, and Soribada as of October 12, 9 AM.
The song has been maintaining its top spot ever since its release last month on the 25th. It is a long-run domination, which is rare to witness in the recent K-Pop market. The song is receiving love from the public with its emotions that that go well with the autumn vibes along with AKMU’s musical growth.
The song also won the triple crown on Gaon Charts for the 40th week(9/29~10/5) with its downloads, digital, and streaming record. Furthermore, the song not only topped real-time charts, but also topped daily, weekly, and Gaon’s major music chart.
LEE CHAN HYUK’s novel, ‘Fish Meets Water’, which shares the same outlook with AKMU’s 3rd album ‘SAILING’ helped the listeners understand the duo’s music and their lyrical beauty.
On October 11 in Hana Tour Vhall, Seoul, LEE CHAN HYUK met the readers of his first-ever self-written novel, ‘Fish Meets Water’, through a ‘meeting with the author’.
He helped the readers understand his work by sharing stories related to ‘Fish Meets Water’, and also exchanged thoughts on his work by answering questions from the readers at the scene.
