[스포츠서울=김선우기자] BLACKPINK’s MV for ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ surpassed 600M views, setting the fastest record in K-Pop history.

The MV for ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ surpassed 600M YouTube views on the 29th at 6 AM, in 177 days since its release. The new record renewed the previous record held by the group’s own mega hit song, ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’(600M views in 211 days). ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ is renewing the records set by ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ in a very fast pace.

At the time of the release, ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ entered the Billboard ‘Hot 100’ and ‘Billboard 200’ at no. 41 and no. 24, respectively. They set the ‘first’ and ‘best’ record in K-Pop girl group history. Furthermore, they also successfully entered Billboard’s main charts for 4 consecutive weeks, which also gave them the ‘longest’ record title among all K-Pop girl groups.
