MINO, First Solo Album ‘D-6’… Amazing Fashion + Photo Sense
[스포츠 조선=김성원 기자] The preliminary orders for MINO’s first official solo album has started, notifying the countdown on the album’s release date.
The pre-order for MINO’s first-ever solo album, ‘XX,’ prepared as a solo artist rather than as a member of WINNER, will start on the 20th at 2 PM until the 26th.
The album will be released in two versions including ‘XX’ version one and ‘XX’ version two, containing different images. The album will also contain a photobook, foldable poster lyrics sheet, and a artbook, which will be special gifts for the fans. The contents will vary depending on the version, which adds variety to the collection.
MINO revealed his own unique color through his first solo album by producing all tracks. The titled of the album ‘XX’ was named by MINO himself, since he intended the album to be interpreted in various ways without limiting itself with and answer or a definition.
The title song ‘Fiancé’ from the album ‘XX’, composed of 12 tracks, contain a familiar melody with fresh variations along with catchy melody and lyrics on the hook that stand out. The song samples a familiar 70s song titled ‘Soyanggang Maid’, presenting a track in strong yet trendy Hip-Hop. The unique harmony between MINO and the featuring artists including YDG, YOO BYUNGJAE, and Blue.D also raises anticipation on the upcoming album.
As he has been active in various fields including music, variety, and pictorials, MINO actively participated in the artwork and package design of his album by utilizing his talent and accumulated knowledge on fashion and photography. One can sense MINO’s strong will to put his everything into his first solo album, ‘XX’.
The album ‘XX’, created with MINO’s hard work and dedication, will be released on the 26th at 6 PM. Physical copies of the album will be available from the 27th through YG SELECT and nationwide retailers, online and offline.
