All members of WINNER appeared on JTBC’s ‘Idol Room’ aired on the 18th.
MINO is currently active as a solo artist with his song ‘FIANCÉ’, winning a total of 5 trophies on music broadcasts. When asked the question, “MINO is currently active and WINNER’s making a comeback? What does that signify?”, YOON answered, “We’re trying to make it cool with WINNER beating MINO”. MINO then showed off by stating, “It’s a fight with myself”, making everyone in the scene burst into laughter. The reactions of the members on MINO’s exposure of the members on ‘Idol Room’ 3 weeks ago also made the viewers laugh.
MINO clarified BIGBANG SEUNGRI’s ‘phone failure’ incident. This happened when SEUNGRI tried calling MINO during a live program back in October but failed since MINO’s phone number changed without SEUNGRI knowing. The MCs and the members started to tease the relationship between the two people.
MC Defconn asked, “MINO laid off SEUNGRI. Did you delete the person named SEUNGRI from your mind?”, while teasing MINO. MINO was flustered and explained, “That’s not it. I have two numbers, so I think he got confused”. He tried calling SEUNGRI to disclose the whole story, but SEUNGRI did not answer his call.
MINO also made the members jealous by being the only member of WINNER to ‘be like brothers’ with YG YANG HYUN SUK. YOON stated, “MINO recently made a rap speech after winning the no. 1 trophy on a music broadcast” and continued, “The president saw it and wrote, ‘Father YANG? Just brother YANG’ on his social media. He explained, “MINO is the only member of WINNER to be like brothers with the president (YANG HYUN SUK)”. MINO responded by shouting ‘brother YANG’ and ‘brother’ as he has never done it before, making everyone burst into laughter.
WINNER’s new single to be released on the 19th (Wed) was revealed for the first time. ‘MILLIONS’ is a sweet song that sings, ‘everyone has millions of reasons to be loved’, containing WINNER’s unique charms. YOON, MINO, and HOONY asked for the fans’ support by explaining, “We composed and wrote the song ourselves”, while MCs Jung Hyungdon and Defconn fell into WINNER’s charms after their performance while stating, “The song is so cute”.
WINNER’s ‘Fact Check’ corner started in no time. As a group in their 5th year, the members’ unique member distinction method was revealed. MINO exchanged eye contact with the members without speaking, and HOONY made the correct answer, ‘I like you’, shocking everyone. MINO known as ‘Song Garak’ was reborn as ‘Song Eyes’. However, MINO and HOONY exchanged the answer through ventriloquism during their second attempt and was caught by the MCs who have noticed their trick.
Then YOON was offended by the ‘WINNER sports fool theory’. He explained that the images shown through broadcasts until now are due to ‘malicious editing’, and HOONY tried to prove it while stating, “I can’t lose” and that “It’s a matter of pride”.
HOONY successfully performed 95 push-ups, and the MCs praised by stating, “You kept the pride of YG”. HOONY made a visual letter ceremony and stated, “Brother YANG, I’m releasing a solo album next year”, making everyone burst into laughter.
The members of WINNER then challenge table tennis and played sincerely despite the MCs criticism that “It’s one of the most boring games ever”. JINU won the cheese ball of victory, while MINO was determined as the sports fool of WINNER. He made an unexpected comeback however, by ‘communing with the gym ball’ on the gym ball balance game to win the no. 1 spot. MINO’s confident rose on the ‘pig wrestling’ battle as he stated, “I received early education on pig wrestling” and won against JINU, making the crowd cheer.
