iKON, “Please Look Forward to the Repackage Album on December”
[엑스포츠뉴스=전아람 기자] Group iKON reunited with the fans in Jakarta after creating a ‘sing-along syndrome’ during the ‘2018 Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games’ closing ceremony.
On November 18, iKON held the ‘iKON CONTINUE TOUR IN JAKARTA’ in ‘TENNIS INDOOR SENAYAN’, located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The members of iKON looked more excited than ever to reunite with the fans in approximately 2 months.
On the date of the concert, the fans who could not reserve tickets online lined up during early hours to buy tickets at the scene. The fans looked sad at the news that remaining seats are limited, but they stayed around the stadium to support iKON until the end of the concert.
The first opening performance of the concert was as fierce as iKON’s huge presence. When songs including ‘BLING BLING’ and ‘SINOSIJAK’ came out along with grand sounds, the fans sang-along with one heart and one voice.
On September, iKON decorated the main finale of the ‘18th Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games 2018’ closing ceremony while the entire world was watching. The local audiences sang-along to iKON’s ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ and ‘RYHTHM TA’ in accurate Korean pronunciation from start to finish.
In addition, iKON shares deep history with the fans of Indonesia. Indonesia has the highest share of iKON’s official YouTube subscribers in the world, while the love and support of local fans were directly transferred to iKON at the scene.
iKON eye-contacted each audience while presenting special aegyo, such as making sexy facial expressions and blowing hand kisses. DK grabbed the female fans’ hearts by wearing a cute character costume while performing ‘BEST FRIEND’. iKON also emphasized communication by yelling, “Leave your cameras and enjoy with us! Take pictures with your eyes. Let’s sing together”.
Also, the vocalist line composed of members JAY, SONG, JU-NE, DK, and CHAN presented sweetness by performing ‘PERFECT’. B.I and BOBBY performed ‘ONE AND ONLY’ and ‘LOVE AND FALL’ respectively as solo artists, revealing their immense charisma.
In the end, iKON asked for the fans’ support by stating, “We’ve released many songs this year. But it’s not over yet. We’re releasing a repackage album on December. Please look forward to it”.
After successfully finishing their concert in Jakarta, iKON will continue their overseas tour on the 25th in Hong Kong. They will also release a repackage album before the year ends to present a special gift for their fans, ‘iKONIC’.
