BLACKPINK JENNIE Reveals New Teaser for ‘SOLO’! ‘JENNIE Over Flowers’ This Time
[OSEN=김은애 기자] While JENNIE noticed the release of her first solo track ‘SOLO’ to be November 12, she revealed her variety of charms through a new teaser.
On November 1 at 10 AM, YG Entertainment revealed 2 teasers for JENNIE’s ‘SOLO’ through their official blog (www.yg-life.com).
JENNIE presented an elegant yet pure vibes while lying down on pink roses. Her captivating eyes staring at the camera while wearing a dress with her shoulders exposed also grabbed the viewers’ attention.
JENNIE has presented various concepts through the teaser contents, including the pure and baby-faced ‘girl JENNIE’, ‘provoking JENNIE’ with her red outfit and lips, and ‘dreamlike JENNIE’ whispering her name.
The fans reacted by writing, “Her concept capacity is crazy”, “It’s a pictorial”, and “looking forward to JENNIE’s new song’ at JENNIE’s transformation in concepts.
On November 12, JENNIE will release her first solo song titled ‘SOLO’.
The lyrics of ‘SOLO’ were written by ‘hit-maker’ TEDDY, who has worked on all songs released by BLACKPINK since debut. The song was also composed by TEDDY and 24.
The song is a Hip-Hop track including elements of Pop music, with outstanding producing and songwriting. The sincere and direct lyrics added on top of the beautiful chords and simple melody line on the intro captivates the listeners’ ears in an instant.
The listeners can also see two sides of JENNIE, coexisting in her outer and inner self as a delicate girl and as an independent and strong woman.
YG’s representative producer YANG HYUN SUK has previously wrote, “We will release JENNIE’s solo track first and follow up with ROSÉ’s solo release. The project is to show that the 4 individual solo skills and capabilities by the 4 members are also one of the biggest strengths of BLACKPINK, as much as the group’s strong teamwork”, through his social media.
JENNIE’s first solo track as the first solo runner of BLACKPINK will be revealed for the first time through the BLACKPINK concert, being held on November 10 and 11 in Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Arena. The fans are already looking forward to JENNIE’s shocking musical transformation she will present through her solo debut.
