YG to Establish X ACADEMY on October, “YG’s Culture and Experience to the Globe” [OFFICIAL]
[OSEN=이소담 기자] iKON revealed the full track list for their upcoming album, scheduled to be released on October 1.
A total of 4 tracks were unveiled including the title song ‘GOODBYE ROAD’, ‘DON’T LET ME KNOW’, ‘ADORE YOU’, and ‘PERFECT’.
Today (22nd) at 11 AM, YG Entertainment revealed the track list for iKON’s new mini album ‘NEW KIDS : THE FINAL’ through their official blog (www.yg-life.com). The lonely yet calm mood emitted by the members impressed the viewers.
YG’s representative producer YANG HYUN SUK recently raised expectations by revealing that “The title song ‘GOODBYE ROAD’ from iKON’s upcoming album competed for the title with the song ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ released on January, until the end”, through his social media. He also added, “We’ve waited for a year since we felt the song perfectly fits the vibes of autumn”.
Related officials from YG stated, “’GOODBYE ROAD’ is a lyrical song with beautiful melodies. Although the song is in slow medium tempo, iKON’s fantastic performances with a high degree of completion will capture both the eyes and ears of the public”.
The second track ‘DON’T LET ME KNOW’ is a song about a man who hopes his ex-lover will be happy, pretending to be calm after the break-up. The song ‘ADORE YOU’ is about a man and a woman who can’t easily fall in love because they know a farewell awaits after a start of a new love. iKON’s vocals on top of the soft melody sounds clean yet mournful.
Lastly, ‘PERFECT’ is a sad ballad song which contains a story about reminiscing love that’s far gone. It is one of the most anticipated tracks from the album since the song has been previewed for the fans before.
All 4 songs that perfectly fits the vibes of autumn were composed and written by the team’s leader B.I, proving his growth in musical spectrum.
On making their third comeback this year, iKON shared their thoughts by stating, “We’re happy to be able to make comeback to the fans and present our new album and music”. They continued, “We would like to achieve meaningful results and support since it is our album that finalizes the year 2018. It’s a song like ‘MY TYPE’ that fits the mood of autumn, so please look forward to it”.
People are already paying keen attention on whether iKON will continue their popularity with the song ‘GOODBYE ROAD’ scheduled to be released on October 1, after setting milestones in early 2018 with the song ‘LOVE SCENARIO’.
