iKON Reveals D-2 Comeback Teaser… Unveils Choreography+Main Melody for ‘GOODBYE ROAD’

[OSEN=장진리 기자] iKON revealed the highlight and choreography for the title song ‘GOODBYE ROAD’, with only 2 days until their third comeback date this year.
Today (29th) at 11 AM, YG Entertainment revealed the choreography teaser for ‘GOODBYE ROAD’ through their official blog, YG LIFE.
The main melody and choreography for the title song ‘GOODBYE ROAD’ unveiled through the teaser. The viewers were able to glimpse at iKON’s soft choreography moves that fit the lyrical vibes of the song.
The choreography was created by the world-famous choreographer Kinjaz, who previously collaborated with iKON through ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ and ‘KILLING ME’. As iKON’s sharp group dance on stage became a hot topic through their previous performances, the group’s upcoming performances of ‘GOODBYE ROAD’ are already highly anticipated.
‘GOODBYE ROAD’ is the title song from iKON’s upcoming mini album ‘NEW KIDS : THE FINAL’, which is scheduled to be released on October 1. Following the release of ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ which swept music charts in early 2018 and ‘KILLING ME’, iKON will be making their unprecedented third comeback this year with the song ‘GOODBYE ROAD’. At the same time, they will complete their ‘Break-up Song Trilogy’ with the release.
The song ‘GOODBYE ROAD’ illustrates lost love after happy ‘flower road’ times. It competed for the title with ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ while iKON was working on their 2nd official album, which was released this year on January. The song had to wait for a year to be released since it perfectly fits the vibes of autumn. The track was written by B.I and BOBBY, while B.I, YG’s producing team FUTURE BOUNCE, and Bekuh BOOM composed the track.
iKON’s upcoming mini album will contain a total of 4 tracks written and composed by B.I, including ‘GOODBYE ROAD’, ‘DON’T LET ME KNOW’, ‘ADORE YOU’, and ‘PERFECT’.
Prior to making comeback in the K-Pop scene, iKON topped the Oricon Album Chart with their album ‘RETURN’, released in Japan on the 26th. People are already paying keen attention on whether ‘GOODBYE ROAD’ will make waves again, as iKON shook music charts in and out of Korea this year with their previous releases.
