A ‘Vacation Concert’ With WINNER For 160 Minutes… Also, A ‘Comeback Spoiler’ [COMPREHENSIVE]

On August 19, WINNER held the concert ‘WINNER 2018 EVERYWHERE TOUR IN SEOUL’ in Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Arena.
WINNER made the fans forget about the sweltering heat with the concept ‘EVERYWHERE’, and by presenting various performances. They revealed their musical experiences gained for the past 4 years. Presenting the group’s unique musical colors.
WINNER performed the song ‘EMPTY’ as the opening song, touching the audiences’ hearts. Then they performed ‘HELLO’, making them excited. After raising the mood with two contrasting songs, they introduced themselves and said hello to the fans.
Leader YOON shared his thoughts by stating, “We’re finally performing here in 2 years”. He continued, “I’ve really been waiting for this moment”.
JINU continued by stating, “I’ve missed you so much. I’m nervous, yet excited. Please have fun until the end”, expressing his affections towards the fans. MINO added, “We’ve met in a long time. I missed the blue waves. Inner Circle (WINNER’s fan club) is as beautiful as mermaids”.
HOONY made the people laugh with his wit. He stated, “I’m HOONY, YG’s deputy head”. He added, “President YANG HYUN SUK and other related officials from YG are here. I may be promoted to the head of the department, depending on your reactions”, making everyone burst into laughter.
The members then performed ‘ISLAND’ and their mega-hit ‘REALLY REALLY’. They also covered Cho-Yongpil’s ‘Let’s Leave on a Trip’, making the fans dance to the rhythm.
WINNER also added excitement to the concert by presenting individual performances filled with the members’ 4 unique charms. MINO performed songs ‘BODY’ and ‘TURN OFF THE LIGHT’, revealing his sexy charisma. JINU followed up with G-DRAGON’s ‘Untitled’, showing off his beautiful vocals.
YOON performed a cover of Yoon Jongshin’s ‘Instinctively’, which made himself known among the public. HOONY revealed his dance skills by following up with TAEYANG’s solo track, ‘RINGA LINGA’.
The members stated, “It’s our first time presenting our solo performances on a concert. So we’ve prepared hard as if we’re trainees who are getting evaluated”.
WINNER celebrated their 4th year anniversary since debut on the 17th. The fans prepared a surprise event for WINNER, touching the members’ hearts. In the middle of the concert, a video with the song ‘MOVIE STAR’ from WINNER’s 2nd official album was played at the scene, while the fans sang along to share their hearts and minds. They waved their cellphones with the flash lights turned on, creating a beautiful view.
WINNER intensively responded, “Is this a present. We were surprised. We thought it was turned on by mistake”. They continued, “The fans are our jewels”.
WINNER performed a total of 23 songs, including 5 encore performances. As a talented group, WINNER filled 160 minutes of the concert with stable vocals and glamorous performances.
Starting with the concert in Seoul, WINNER will continue to perform in Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, Manila, Jakarta, and Hong Kong as part of their overseas tour.
WINNER stated, “It’s our first time doing an overseas tour”. They added, “There were many incidents while preparing. We had arguments, and we also gathered to make things happen. It will be in our memories forever”.
HOONY who named the tour with the title ‘EVERYWHERE’ himself stated, “It means we’ll go wherever you are”. He shared his will by stating, “Starting from Seoul, we’ll run to you ‘EVERYWHERE’”.
WINNER also made spoilers on their ‘upcoming comeback’. YOON stated, “YANG HYUN SUK wrote that ‘you should make comeback no matter what this year’ on our group chat room. So, we worked hard on making songs as well while preparing for our concert. He also talked about solo tracks by members”.
He continued, “You’ll meet us soon. Please know that we’ll be back in a while”.
