iKON to Hold the ‘KILLING ME’ Dance Cover Contest [OFFICIAL]
[동아닷컴=전효진 기자] Group iKON will hold the ‘KILLING ME’ Dance Cover Contest.
Today (20th) at 11 AM, YG Entertainment notified the start of the ‘KILLING ME’ Dance Cover Contest through their official blog.
Participants must upload the cover video on YouTube until September 30 and complete the Google application form attached in the notice section of iKON’s official social media. People can enter the contest regardless of age and gender. The winners will be announced on October 4, and a total of 3 teams will be selected. The no. 1 winner will be awarded 10 million KRW along with benefits, while no. 2 and no. 3 winners will be awarded 3 million KRW and 2 million KRW, respectively.
Along with the opening of the special contest, iKON encouraged the people’s participation by revealing a performance video of ‘KILLING ME’. The members revealed dynamic moves throughout the video, which the viewers cannot take their eyes off. The sharp group choreography and footwork grabbed the viewers’ attention in an instant.
In the beginning of this month, iKON started the ‘KILLING ME Challenge’ through social media after making a fantastic comeback. The challenge was to combine the daily message with the MV of iKON’s ‘KILLING ME’. Not only celebrities including PSY, TABLO, CHANG KIHA, JI SANGRYEOL, and HAN SANGJIN participated, but also fans from in and out of Korea took part in the event.
While presenting various promotional events including the ‘KILLING ME’ Challenge and a dance cover contest, iKON will meet the fans through an overseas tour. On August 24, iKON will hold the first concert of ‘iKON JAPAN TOUR 2018’ on Japan’s Fukuoka International Convention Center.
