SEUNGRI Reveals MV for ‘WHERE R U FROM’…Joyous ‘B-Rated Emotions’

BIGBANG SEUNGRI presented the essence of B-rated emotions through his MV for ‘WHERE R U FROM’.
On July 27 at 9 AM, YG Entertainment revealed the sub-title song ‘WHERE R U FROM’ through their official blog. While the MV for the title song ‘1, 2, 3!’ was released along with his album on the 20th, the MV for ‘WHERE R U FROM’ was kept in veil, raising the curiosities of fans.
The MV starts with a global summit conference scene, while the parody of president Donald Trump of USA and Kim Jong Un of North Korea’s meeting captured the viewers attention.
While representatives argued and raised voices during the summit, SEUNGRI arrives with a black horse.
He gathered everyone’s attention with his unmatched aura. WINNER’s MINO appeared following SEUNGRI as a featuring artist, and everyone at the scene starts dancing while the summit becomes a party.
YOO BYUNG JAE, Jung Sanghoon, and Sam Ochiri and Daniel Lindemann from JTBC’s ‘Non-Summit’ appeared as cameos and acted superbly. The MV also parodied the famous scene from the movie ‘JSA’. SEUNGRI reenacted the pink powder blowing scene from BLACKPINK’s MV for ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ along with YOO BYUNG JAE dressed as G-DRAGON, making the viewers burst into laughter.
The amusing choreography for the song was also revealed through the MV. The choreography and its key point of spreading the arms and legs which is easy to follow regardless of age and gender was also very impressive.
The MV was directed by producer Park Junsoo, who directed ‘YG Electronics’. His unique B-rated emotions flooded within the MV, adding more joy.
Related officials explained, “SEUNGRI, MINO, and the cameos did a great job in acting comedy, which made the B-rated emotions show well through the video. It also helped the filming scene to be amicable throughout the whole shooting”.
SEUNGRI is currently working hard on preparing for his first solo concert ‘SEUNGRI 2018 1st SOLO TOUR [THE GREAT SEUNGRI] in SEOUL x BC CARD’ which will be held through August 4~5 at 6 PM in Seoul Jangchung Gymnasium.
