WINNER Produced All Tracks on Their 2nd Official Album… “A Total of 12 Tracks Including a Solo Track By MINO” [OFFICIAL]
[마이데일리=김나라 기자] The track list of WINNER’s 2nd official album finally unveiled.
On March 27, YG Entertainment posted the track list of WINNER’s 2nd official album, ‘EVERYD4Y’, on their official blog.
According to the uploaded track list, the album is consisted of 12 tracks, but only track information of 6 tracks were revealed, which is half of the entire track list. Tracks 7 to 12 were left blank, raising curiosity of the viewers.
What first attracts the viewers is the no. 1 track and title song, ‘EVERYDAY’. Members YOON and MINO participating in the composing and writing of the track, while HOONY also contributed on writing the lyrics.
YG Entertainment explained, “EVERYDAY is a song with a sophisticated and bright trap genre” and continued, “The minimal and unique sounds of the track will capture both popularity and musicality. The theme of ‘happy everyday with the ones you love’ were wittily expressed into the lyrics”.
The track ‘AIR’ was also composed and written by YOON, while MINO and HOONY participated in writing the lyrics. The song ‘HELLO’ was written and composed by MINO, while HOONY and MILLENIUM participated in writing the lyrics. They are track no. 2 and no. 3, respectively.
The no. 4 track turned out to be MINO’s solo track, written by himself. The title of the track is ‘TURN OFF THE LIGHT’.
MINO has previously released solo tracks through broadcasts such as Mnet’s ‘Show Me The Money 4’, but it’s his 2nd solo track listed in WINNER’s album since he released ‘I’M HIM’, which was listed in WINNER’s debut album, ‘2014 S/S’.
Tracks no. 5 and no. 6, ‘LA LA’ and ‘FOR’, were also composed and written by YOON while MINO and HOONY participated in writing the lyrics.
As YOON, MINO, and HOONY who produced their own songs since debut manages to participate in the writing and composing of all 12 tracks, WINNER solidified their identity as a group with producer capabilities.
WINNER’s upcoming album is an album being released in 4 years since their debut album ‘2014 S/S’ released back in 2014, and it is expected that the group will display various musical capabilities since the album with filled up with a total of 12 tracks.
YG Entertainment stated, “WINNER kept on challenging and transforming on their new album. They evolved from their previous fresh tropical sounds from their previous hits including ‘REALLY REALLY’ and ‘LOVE ME’, and will present fresh music for the listeners”, raising expectations on the upcoming album.
