YG’s Character ‘KRUNK’ Will Collaborate with World-Class Artist, Steve Wilson

[OSEN=정지원 기자] YG’s representative character, ‘KRUNK’, will be given birth as various works through collaboration with world-class artist, Steve Wilson.

YG’s subsidiary company, YG PLUS noticed, “Steve Wilson, the master of modern arts will hold an exhibition named ‘Your First Piece of Work at an Art Museum – Steve Wilson’, and will feature works created under collaboration with KRUNK”.

Steve Wilson is an artist who express various phenomenon with his unique vision through modern art. His style of work created harmony with the concept of KRUKN which contains YG’s unique style, and ultimately presented different images of KRUNK.

The English artist, Steve Wilson, is known for his collaborations with major brands that are well known worldwide. Korea will be the first country to hold this exhibition among other Asian countries, which makes the exhibition more meaningful. Steve Wilson’s interpretation of KRUNK and his other works will be revealed through the exhibition.

Steve Wilson’s exhibition will take place at Seoul Kumho Museum of Art (February 1 to February 11), Gallery Bahk (February 1 to February 23), Daegu Gallery Jeon (February 1 to February 28), and Incheon Shinsegae Gallery (February 22 to April 2).

Last year, KRUNK held a fan-meeting overseas and released music for the first time as a character. The character also collaborated with rising new artists last year on November, at Saatchi Gallery, London.

YG is planning to release KRUNK’s album and run other related businesses within the first half of 2018.
