[AGAIN TV] B.I in ‘iKON PICNIC’ Puts Down His ‘Charismatic Leader’ Armor for a While
[헤럴드POP=최경진 기자]B.I, iKON’s charismatic leader, revealed his sloppy charm.
B.I has always been sturdy and mature in order to maintain iKON’s balance. In fact, B.I’s leadership was effective and the 7 members of iKON have trusted and followed him.
However, in ‘iKON PICNIC’, B.I revealed his different side. On the episode which aired on November 19, he showed his cuteness, which was almost made him look like a chunk of sloppiness (?).
On the last episode, iKON went nature learning in Jeju island with the girls from Japan. B.I was always stood a step behind, making room for his members to appear more on the show, but when he was on camera, he revealed his beagle-like beauty and unexpected charms.
When he went sea fishing with the boys, he showed his sloppiness in fishing and couldn’t even hold fish that well, making the viewers laugh. He even slipped a mackerel caught by one of the girls in the bait box. However, the scene where he struggles and eventually takes out the mackerel and puts it back in the fishing box shows B.I’s strong sense of responsibility he has always shown.
B.I also showed his funny side by wearing a plastic bag on his head and stating, “this is how you wear a raincoat”. His imitation of the North Korean dialect was a heimish aspect of him, something people could not observe from neat and polished B.I. It was unexpected, even considering the fact that B.I always acted like a younger brother in front of JAY.
In the visitation to the abandoned school to strengthen courage, he let the girls stand in front stating, “ladies first” as he was afraid, making the viewers burst into laughter. While the other members were saying “I’ll protect you” and “I’m okay” even if was just talk, only B.I displayed a humorous and honest side of him. The scene where B.I received the ‘ghost extermination 3 combo set – adzuki beans, onions, and peas’, while everyone looked serious, viewers were induced into laughter.
B.I’s sloppiness and beagle-like beauty he shows in front of his members makes ‘iKON PICNIC’ more interesting. People are closely paying attention to the unexpected new side of B.I he will further display on the show.
