iKON Entertains 313,000 Fans from Japan Tour… Finale in Kobe
[엑스포츠뉴스=김미지 기자] iKON successfully unwrapped their Japan Concert Tour.
On November 12, iKON held a finale concert of ‘iKON JAPAN DOME TOUR 2017’, which consisted of 24 concerts and drew 313,000 audiences in Kobe World Memorial Hall. It was iKON’s biggest and longest tour in Japan.
The Japanese fans waited for iKON before the concert began, waving cheer sticks to the music video on screen and singing along the lyrics. As members of iKON made their appearance with the opening song, the stadium was filled with roar from fans.
iKON opened the finale concert shouting “KOBE LET’S GO!”, and started with the song ‘BLING BLING’ which took the number one spot on the Oricon Weekly CD Album chart, and continued with powerful performances with songs ‘SINOSIJAK REMIX’ and ‘JUST ANOTHER BOY’, heating up the crowd.
Then they sat on a chair to sing ‘MY TYPE REMIX (Acoustic Ver.), while providing fan service by throwing finger hearts and winks at the camera. Also, member JU-NE sang an impromptu song called ‘Kobe’, which was the location of the concert while playing the guitar, capturing the minds of fans with his talent.
iKON’s ballad songs PERFECT’, ‘AIRPLANE’, ‘JUST GO’, and ’APOLOGY’ gently touched the fans’ hearts. At the end of the concert, they performed ‘RHYTHM TA REMIX (Rock Ver.)’, ‘B-DAY’, and ‘’DUMB & DUMBER’ with iKON’s signature powerful performances, making the crowd go wild until the end.
iKON stated, “It was a long tour with 24 concerts this time. It’s true that sometimes it was physically and mentally fatiguing, but we were able to cheer up when we saw your faces on stage. Thank you so much”, and sang ‘LONG TIME NO SEE’ with the fans.
As it was the finale concert, iKON sang SINOSIJAK REMIX’ and ’WORLDWIDE’ as encores and ‘BLING BLING’ and ‘RHYTHM TA REMIX (Rock Ver.) as double encores, unwrapping their tour.
iKON will continue their performances in Japan through ‘iKON X’mas LIVE 2017’, which will be held in Yokohama Arena from December 9 to December 10.
iKON is also planning a special meeting with fans in Korea. They are currently finalizing their new album, and will dedicate their schedules to Korea after the album is released.
Furthermore, aside from the album and concert schedules, iKON is gathering attention from fans for their unexpected charms fans couldn’t see on stage through JTBC’s ‘iKON PICNIC’, which first premiered on November 4.
