At 6 PM on September 21, SECHSKIES released its fifth album, its first album in 18 years.The title song “SOMETHING SPECIAL” is at No.1 on the charts of Soribada and Naver Music as of 7 AM.
The other title track “SMILE” is also high up on the charts, proving SECHSKIES’s popularity.
YG’s hit makers KANG UK JIN and LIØN wrote the lyrics of “SOMETHING SPECIAL”.The two also wrote its music together with Diggy. “SOMETHING SPECIAL” is a song that has mass appeal thanks to its upbeat sounds and warm lyrics about one’s loved one.
Meanwhile, BTS’s “DNA” is No.1 on Melon, the biggest music streaming website in Korea.
