The show is made by HAN DONG CHUL, the producer of Mnet’s Show Me The Money Season, and YG Entertainment head YANG HYUN SUK will be on it. Industry insiders are saying that the show has great prospects. Let’s find out why they are so sure about the show’s success.

Mix Nine is a reality competition program in which YANG HYUN SUK will visit management companies across the country to find new stars. YANG HYUN SUK is the head and music producer of YG Entertainment, which is one of the top three entertainment companies in Korea. His talent for picking out potential stars was proven when he appeared as a judge on SBS’s K Pop Star. Earlier on, he said, “I didn’t really put much emphasis on looks so far, but on Mix Nine, I’m hoping to find good looking and pretty star wannabes. Of course, they have to have good characters too.” His bar has gone up, and that’s why expectations are running higher than ever for the show.

HAN DONG CHUL, who made Mnet’s Show Me The Money, Unpretty Rapstar, and Produce 101 Season 1 when he was at CJ E&M, is the best at making survival audition shows. His plan for Produce 101 was female trainees for season 1, male trainees for season 2, and co-ed for the last season. So, the idea for Mix Nine was originally for the season 3 of Produce 101. The show will be an improved version as it will have YANG HYUN SUK on the show and JTBC’s support. The first half of the show will be called “Enter Tour Step” and the second half, “Competition Step”. People are curious about how different will Mix Nine be from Produce 101.
