[Music Talk Talk] Signaling their Comeback is Near, iKON Reveals Scenes from their Music Video
[OSEN=박판석 기자] YANG HYUN SUK posted a video revealing scenes from iKON’s new music video. The part that was revealed features JU-NE looking forlorn. It’s been four months since iKON released a new song, and fans are wondering what they will look like when they come back.
On September 20, YG Entertainment head YANG HYUN SUK uploaded a 10-sec video on his Instagram page. The video was hastagged with “#iKON #NEWMV #NOWSHOOTING #NEW SONG #FIRST PIECE THAT SHOWS INCREDIBLE NEW SIDE OF B.I # MY TYPE & HITS THE RIGHT SPOT #YG”.
The teaser video shows a part of iKON’s new music video that features JU-NE. JU-NE is standing alone wearing a coat, arousing curiosity about iKON’s new album. It is expected that the album will be perfect for the fall.
Earlier on, YANG HYUN SUK announced that iKON will make a comeback soon after BOBBY’s solo debut. He said, “Check out iKON’s new album which will come out soon.”
The group celebrated the 2nd anniversary of their debut on September 15. Last May, iKON released ”BLING BLING” and “B-DAY”, which gained great popularity in Korea and in Japan. BOBBY released his solo debut album a day before their 2nd anniversary, and his album achieved remarkable results. His “I Love You” became No. 1 on the charts.
Since debut, iKON members have participated actively in writing the music and lyrics of their songs, and it will be interesting to see how much they have participated in their new album. It’s been two years since their debut, and will they be able to gain the love of the public with this album?
