[Exclusive] Boyfriend’s Park Hyun-jin and Kim Jong-seop “signed exclusive contract” with YG
[OSEN=정지원 기자] Park Hyun-jin and Kim Jong-seop of Boyfriend, the winner of “K-Pop Star 6” show, have eventually joined YG Entertainment.
According to multiple broadcasting insiders, Park and Kim have recently signed exclusive contract with YG Entertainment. Now, the two are the trainees of YG Entertainment.
YG’s CEO YANG HYUN SUK expressed unlimited affection and trust for Boyfriend’s member Park Hyun-jin and Kim Jong-seop, the winner of “K-Pop Star 6”. The two have ended up joining YG within a month of the end of the show.
YG has succeeded in recruiting the two members of Boyfriend, following the recruitment of Han-byeol who also competed in “K-Pop Star 6”.
Boyfriend, a duo of two 11-year-old boys Park Hyun-jin and Kim Jong-seop, wrote a new history in Korea’s music scene by winning “K-Pop Star 6”. The duo captivated the judges upon their first appearance in “K-Pop Star 6” with their surprising talent and then was evaluated as the “future of K-pop”.
Music fans are paying keen attention to whether the duo will grow into artists who will lead the future of YG Entertainment.
