[스타뉴스=길혜성 기자] Idol group WINNER (KANG SEUNGYOON, KIM JINWOO, LEE SEUNGHOON, SONG MINHO, and NAM TAEHYUN) has confirmed the first TV performance for their new album released after one year and six months of absence.
WINNER will officially release their new mini-album with double title tracks of “BABY BABY” and “SENTIMENTAL” on February 1. WINNER is releasing a new album with new songs one year and six months after their debut album released in August, 2014.
According to music industry insiders on the 29 this month, WINNER will give the first performance of their new album in music cable channel Mnet’s “M-Countdown” to be aired on February 4 in the afternoon.
Notably, as WINNER is to perform three of their new songs in “M-Countdown”, fans’ anticipation is rising high. WINNER will perform “BABY BABY” and “SENTIMENTAL”, the double title tracks of the new album, as well as NAM TAEHYUN’s solo track “I’M YOUNG”.
Fans are now paying keen attention to what kind of performances WINNER will present for their new album for the first time.
Meanwhile, the cover project for WINNER’s double title tracks which has been carried out recently by WINNER’s label YG Entertainment drew big attention. “SENTIMENTAL” and “BABY BABY” which have yet to be released officially have been covered by LEE HI, TAEYANG, Zion.T, DEAN, AKMU, Katie Kim, G-DRAGON, and EPIK HIGH, creating sensation.
