Ticket sale for iKON’s 2nd concert opens today… Fierce competition for the ticket is expected
[OSEN=최나영 기자] While ticket sale for group iKON’s second concert is opening today (Jan. 6), it is expected that the competition to get the ticket will be fierce.
iKON’s second concert “iKONCERT 2016 SHOWTIME TOUR IN SEOUL” will be held on January 30 and 31 at 6pm at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Olympic Park, Seoul. The first and second ticket sale will open on January 6 and 7, respectively, at 8pm.
On October 3, 2015, iKON boasted their already-big influence by holding debut concert within a month of their debut at Olympic Gymnastics Arena, one of the biggest concert halls in Korea. All the 13,000 tickets were sold out upon the opening of the ticket sale, showing the team’s big ticket power even though they are still a rookie idol group. The competition for the tickets of iKON’s second concert is expected to be all the more fierce, as iKON’s new songs released since their debut concert and their artistic growth will be displayed in it.
After making debut with “MY TYPE” in September last year, iKON has hit three consecutive home-runs by sweeping No.1 on major music charts with “RHYTHM TA” and “APOLOGY” as well. The team consolidated their presence as the hottest rookie of the year 2015 by getting the rookie of the year award in the 2015 Melon Music Awards and 2015 MAMA.
iKON released their debut full album on December 24 last year, the Christmas Eve, to give a special present to fans who have spared no support for iKON. iKON’s charismatic performance of new song “DUMB&DUMBER” and “WHAT’S WRONG?” unveiled on the 27 last month in SBS “Gayo-Daejeon” and on the 3 this month in SBS “INKIGAYO” further raised fans’ anticipation for the performance of iKON’s new songs to be presented at the concert this month.
The tickets of iKON’s second concert “iKONCERT 2016 SHOWTIME TOUR IN SEOUL” will be sold today and tomorrow at 8pm on Auction Ticket (ticket.auction.co.kr).
